          Instead of Thomas, Teresa, and Chuck finding a way out of the Maze for everyone, they mess up along the way. They don't make it out, and now they are stuck back in the Glade wondering what to do.

          WICKED, not wanting to kill them, decided to regulate everything until the Gladers figured their way out. This included the Box, which meant new Greenies until everyone figured out their escape once and for all.

          When WICKED decided to send up a new Greenie a week after the mishap with the code in the Maze, they messed up and sent up the wrong person. To make it worse, not all of their memory is gone.
