Amelia Duncan was a straight A's student. She was mostly known at school for her intelligence as well as her humble personality. However, that was the past.. Her world came crashing down when her father announces a heart breaking divorce that leaves her depressed and devastated, leaving her no choice but to move city's, schools, and town with him.
Three years down the line, and Amelia now regrets moving, from what was her home. For the past three years of living in Brooklyn, Amelia has been picked on at school for as for as she remembers.Even her father was too blind eyed too see that her daughter was being abused at school, ever since he starting dating.
Feeling low, Amelia writes 13 reasons why she should turn to suicide on pieces of paper, but little did her father know everything will come crashing down in the end..
