Poetry by Samuel Draper

I pretty much retired from poetry after I finished my degree in Imaginative Writing in 2010. There's no money in it and, while it can be fun, I suck at finding readers. I have no public speaking skills either so I can't do poetry that way. What I do lives a little half-arsed on the page.

I've decided to throw as many poems from my hard-drive together and put them here. In one place. If you like what you read, great. If you don't, I'm sorry. Poetry can be a great thing when it wants to be. Maybe one day I looked like I might have been a poet but that didn't happen. This did.
