In the dying world, you wouldn't find many people alive nowadays. You had your Scavengers, your hunters, your suicides. Then you had your weak and your strong. Then you have me. Someone who is...well scared. When the world ended people died out of nowhere, as if those Things were invisible. When I first looked outside people were reaching around to feel them. I didn't have too. I could see them clear as day. I'm a Seeker. The last of my kind.

The Way It Is
I am not from this planet. Hell, I am technically not from this galaxy. However, that doesn't change the fact I am here now, and my job is to save what I can on this forsaken planet and what's left of its inhabitants. The problem is that not everyone wants to be saved. I know what you're thinking. You can't save those who don't want to be saved. I bloody well agree. The ones who sent me don't care what you or I think, though. All they care about is numbers. They need a certain success rate to continue to get funding for their "expeditions" and "peacekeeping" efforts. I use both terms loosely here. However, that's what they put on their records, and it's what sounds good and looks suitable to their investors. So this is the way it's going to be. So be it! Oh, did I forget to mention the Universe decided I was the lucky girl to help find the one person who could save us all from self-destruction? Yea, that is a shitty idea, but once again, no one cares what I think.Complete
The Games
Prologue: Earth has found out they're not alone in the universe. An alien species have contacted Earth, giving them a chance to be protected by the aliens out there that threatens the universe. They inform them that there are in fact thousands of alien species out there. The alien race, who calls themselves Opsidians, offer Earth a chance at competing in the Games, a televised reality competition game they host. In order to win the protection, Earth will have to send a tribute to the Games. They know little to nothing about the Games or these alien species. But after consideration, they don't see the harm in sending one. And realise it might be their only chance.Complete
Children of the Ark ✔️
Every three years a group of two-hundred teens get sent to Earth. After spending two years on Earth, you can choose to go back onto the Ark or to stay on Earth. Most don't survive the first week. They get to either join a Clan, create a new Clan or go solo. If your name is called out, you have to go down. You have no choice. Almost everyone joins a Clan or makes a new Clan. Nobody goes solo, unless you absolutely have to. Or if no Clan accepts you. Every animal on Earth wants to kill humans, they have all mutated after the Nuclear War, all the ones that survived, and are out for human flesh and blood. Bastien Water's name gets called out during the Choosing and he has to try to survive on Earth. While his family grieves thinking that Bastien won't survive but he's out to prove them wrong. Bastien meets new people, makes some friends and make some enemies. Bastien has to face many challenges to survive on Earth. Will he be able to do it? I lost myself somewhere between space and time. I repeated my name over and over, refusing to leave myself behind. We're on a quest to find other survivors and potentially save our planet, but to do that we have to avoid being shot, eaten, or falling in love. When both of our species were created, we were destined to have a mate within our own species. I have been searching for my mate since I was 18 when I first shifted except I have yet to find her. Everything started in 2036. The pollution was so bad that the end of the world was predicted to be right around the corner. As complete panic set in around the world, the rich and important people were all gathered and placed on giant spaceships with enough resources and room to house generations of human beings. Before they left though, the government leaders fired As a result, most of the human population died off and earth was a complete wasteland. The little that survived started building local communities and trying to survive in the destroyed excuse of a planet. On the disaster of a planet, creatures mutated and were born out of the nuclear chemicals; creating new species and monsters that hunted humans. While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. So they stayed civil while still doing what it took to survive.Complete
