During graduation Stephanie's boyfriend, Donnie Wahlberg, got into a bad breakup where Stephanie didn't even want to tell Jennifer the awful details. Meanwhile, Jennifer's boyfriend, Jordan Knight, also had a breakup where he just thought it "wasn't working out"...
Later in 1990 after two years into college down in Pennsylvania, the girls decided to take a one-year break and then go back to finish their last two years of college. So, they felt like taking a reunion back to Boston. Once they check into their first hotel, they run into a couple of "friends" that they thought they'd hope to never see again. Next thing you know, Jennifer and Jordan are friends again, and now they want to get their best friends back together, not even realizing that their own relationship is re-blossoming before they know it.
