The main character of this story was 'Carl' a Filipino seafarer who've found his true love in Penang Malaysia. He fall in love to Rheyn a Chinese-Malaysian Novelist girl who's simple, kind and beautiful. they are actually in-love with each other but Rheyn's only holdings Carl promises. Before taking his vacation, Carl left a promised to Rheyn that he will return to Penang to settle things and do his words. But the problem is when he got home, Chris 'Carls Dad' set up his son's marriage to Ella 'Carl Childhood friend' and also the only daughter of the known billionaire 'Don Elizaldy Caperiña' who's dying.
Don Elizaldy has requested Chris to set up it because they are good friends and he trusted Chris and his family to look after Ella 'his next of kin' in case he pass away.
In the beginning of their marriage life, Carl and Ella don't like each other instead they are fighting, changing war of words, argues and sometimes Ella hurting Carl by throwing things or punching him all over his face and body. they are living under the same roof because of their families who had responsible in all of these.
