It's the middle of the roaring twenties and Eloise Taylor is living the American dream. She's a flapper working as a dancer at one of New York's hottest speakeasies.

After saving up for an apartment nearer to the heart of NYC, she moves in to her glorious new home, right next to Jack Auburn, a mysterious, spirited, and not to mention British artist whom Eloise falls for, slowly but surely.

But soon, Eloise finds out that Jack is more than what his gentlemenly ways portray.
