Rising from Ashes

Marco, mythical Zoan phoenix, first division commander of the Whitebeard pirates, has a secret. He’s immortal, the curse of the mythical Zoan fruit. So when he dies protecting his nakama, he expects to wake up, but not in a strange place with binding clothes and strange accents. He’s lost, but he doesn’t know where he is until he finds the devil fruit in the seastone box which binds like a snake around his ankle- he’s trapped as a phoenix. And perhaps those little niches in this place where people believe phoenixes to be more than a myth are where he should go.
