Dakota Scott has always been tough. She was born into a life of crime, her dad being a gang leader and all. But when her mother is killed in a fight with a rival gang, she is determined to get tougher and be the girl her mother always saw in her, she starts booking street fights and getting into free-running, but how does Dakota spend her days? Dakota as an outgoing always in trouble. Can she keep up with their separate lives or will they come together at the hands of Kyle Fearon.
Kyle Fearon is one of the most popular people at his high school, he's in a band which helps with the popularity, In Dakota's perspective he's cocky and annoying. But on the inside he's a sweet, idiotic, slightly perverted, loving guy who has a love for reading and his little sister. Every-girl has a crush in him but he is oblivious until he goes to watch a fight with some of his buddies and sees the girl that sits in the back of his biology class in the ring beating the shit out of a guy twice her size.
