In their training to become Void Demons they're born into one life after the other to suffer and die. As time begins to pass their soul fades and their spirit weakens. In the end was it really all in vain?

So basically, you. Muzan's 14-year-old half-demon daughter (I know it's cliche but bear with me) who he doesn't know even exists, somehow ended up under the suspicion of being a demon, which you were, halfway. And it was decided that you would now be living with the famous insect hashira. Shinobu Kocho. In the Butterfly mansion until they found out whether you were a demon or not after the test they had prepared had failed. And though they would never admit it, they were basically holding you hostage and waiting by to kill you off. You refused quite a bit but you apparently had no say in it.
