Hitting Home

Bristol Willows is senior captain of the softball team at Verndale High and only has one thing on her mind: Earning a scholarship to play ball in college. There's one problem though. How is she supposed to focus on swinging the bat when Jared Nichols, captain of the school's baseball team and her former best friend, tries to make her strike out at any chance he gets? Or is he standing in foul territory secretly wishing that she'll make a homerun?
