Why would he be calling? It's 4 AM. We don't even know each other. But God, I am so glad he is.

Their story starts off simply enough. A boy meets a girl. They fall in love quietly, separately. Neither one makes a move, in the hope the other will, both hoping in vain. Both waiting for the perfect moment, not realizing that if they wait until they are totally ready, they will be waiting forever.

Until 4 AM comes along. Like some sort of mystical alarm in the minds of everyone. Nothing good happens after 4 AM. But for Maeve, something amazing happened after 4 AM. He calls her.

Between the nervous laughter, the haze of a few too many drinks, and the ceaseless babbling, they discover the feelings they have been hiding for so long.

From this one phone call, new love blossoms. And everything is as it should be.

But nothing good can happen after 4 AM. And for Maeve, that lesson has to be learned the hard way.
