Katelyn Shay Richard has been exposed to magic ever since she was just a little girl. She's come from generations and generations of Magix, people who have magic powers.
They were said to get they're powers once they reach the age of 13, 13 being the maximum. If you haven't received your magic powers yet and you've already turned 14, it means that you can no longer be a Magix.
Katelyn is turning 13 in a few months and she hasn't gained her powers yet and she's hoping they'll come on the day of her birthday.
And everyone else is just as excited as she is and they're all there to support her and help her once she transitions to a Magix.
But at the moment, everyone is so wrapped up in what'll happen once she's transitioned that they don't realize there is a chance she will not transition...............
It's a possibility and things might just not go as planned.
