Helena Van Donken a 23 year old female, of Dutch heritage, lives in the bright city of New York. However her life is not as stunning and starry as the New York scenry. Stuck in a marriage she wished she could escape, forced to be with a man she didn't love. Broken and home sick she has pretty much given up on her happily ever after.
Lukos Mevrick, an immortal werewolf of untold power, is a legend amongst his kind.
