Darkness.

This piece of my writing is specifically dedicated to all those who are currently living with depression, or any other negative feeling that seems to seep through their heads without them even knowing it, and all those who are going through the 'darkness' phase in their lives.
Please know that you're not alone.
You never were.
Because, all over the world, there are people out there like you and I, who are about to cross paths with darkness, are going through it right at this moment, or who have been through it and already become stronger, wiser, and so much more beautiful in their kaleidoscopic brokenness than they had ever been.
And like a quote from one of my favourite books says, 'Treasures are buried within ruins. A beautiful heart hides treasures.'

It's going to be hard, but it's going to be okay. Always.
Scars don't go away, but they heal. They always do.

To all my fellow soldiers, this is for you.
Just have faith, and never give up.
And you'll survive.
