Less than a year into their marriage, Landon still thought about what it would be like to be bad for once, but never risked it. Fear of losing her good man made her remain monogamous and true to her husband. For the past few years she was sure about her choices until Dario appeared in her life and brought trouble with him. Whenever the tall, amaretto coated, debonair admirer walked near her office she grew nervous. Whenever he complimented her, she smiled from ear to ear, and when she could smell his cologne, that wasn’t far from the same notes her husband wore, her body quivered. Her womanly area would gyrate from imagining his touch and such thoughts shamed her. She knew she would never test those waters and had no need to since her husband made her swoon in the bedroom. She had the best husband any woman could ask for with shoes no other man could fill, yet Landon continued to have racy thoughts about Dario and couldn’t figure out why. The fact Mr. Powers charmed his way into Landon’s thoughts took her by surprise, and made her feel uneasy with a small part of her enjoying it. She grew desperate to solve why after so many years a stranger was able to get her hot and bothered, and she wanted that puzzle solved before she did something she would regret. The seductive stares and compliments escalated to flowers appearing at Landon’s desk. She called Todd and thanked him for the lovely arrangement, but quickly learned a lesson to always read the card attached. Her careless mistake created a fight between she and Todd when he revealed he didn’t send her flowers. Seeing Todd so upset lit a fire in Landon who went home that evening and made love to her husband like a character from a porno film. When she returned to work the next morning she was graced with a more obnoxious arrangement with a card signed by Todd. His words put a smile on her face and the gesture made her giddy inside as the arrangement clearly sent a message that he would not be outdon

LANDON LUNA: Someone is directly targeting me-making me out to be Elijah Moon's stalker. I'm not. And in an attempt to combat against the person who accused me, I also make choices I immediately regret. Elijah has been instructed, by me, to stay out of it. I can handle this. Choices are a funny thing when they're made in the name of protection. I needed to protect him. Then GlimmerOfHope pops back up, and they're defending me against the madness. Who is Glimmer? Should I just tell everyone the truth? Wait, don't send me to Vegas with Everest while I'm drunk. Mistakes aren't made, but we definitely make some choices this time. EVEREST PIERCE: When I told Landon I loved him without limits and expectations, I saw the glint of uncertainty. And how could I blame him when the world is attacking him so brutally? My softhearted, compassionate, loving ray of sunshine has a dark cloud looming over him. Landon kept trying to convince me everything is fine when it clearly is not fine. No matter. I promised him I would stand beside him. And I don't go back on the promises I make. I waited too long to give up. Every time I look at him, I see our happy future together. I'm a man who's remained silent for far too long, though. So, when Landon hits his breaking point quickly because the world refuses to leave him alone, I know what I need to do. I might have been a man who remained silent... But maybe it's time I break my silence. And fight for and beside the one I love.
