The Prabandhakas are an ancient order started by Lord Krishna while he was on earth. These souls have been chosen to be the personification of the five elements, Fire, Air, Earth, Water and Space to maintain and preserve balance throughout the universe. They are not warriors, for warriors fight and die with bloodthirsty pride on the battlefield. Warriors must follow rules. This elite group led by the embodiment of consciousness, the great sage Sarvagnya, will go to any lengths; employ any science, don any weapon and commit any sin to keep the scales of the universe even. Living among the Dwarkians, the descendants of Lord Krishna, on their Garden planet no one will ever know them, no holy man will ever utter their name. The only ones aware of their existence are the demigods who commission them and the dark forces of Kali who want to kill them. They are strategists, assassins and devotees of Lord Vishnu, each empowered with special boons and skills endowed by the elements that chose them. They are the bodyguards to the avatar, preparing for his birth, protecting him while on earth, and arranging his departure.
