Whenever anything is remotely normal for Emerald, something drastic happens. Every time.
Even when she thought her life couldn't take anymore sudden turns, it did. It always does. It never makes sense, but Emerald always keeps running from something she doesn't understand.
Emerald won't stop until she has the answers she so badly need. She won't stop running, won't stop hiding, won't stop denying everything that she knows she needs to do. Because some things are stronger than energy, stronger than the power Emerald can barely control.

There's no beginning, middle, and end. No heroic climax where she almost dies but it just makes things interesting. No. There is only living. And powers, she still has those...Complete
