Mira is a young maiden who, along with her twin brother Oran, lives with her stepfather and two stepsisters in a cottage in the woods. They are forced by their family to do all the housework and chores. One day, Mira and Oran wander into the woods, where they run into a witch and her son. When Mira refuses to marry the son, Oran is transformed into a creature, and the only way to turn him back is for Mira to either marry the son or set on a quest to retrieve three objects for the witch. And on the way, Mira just may find love, deep in the forest...
