In an effort to prove herself to her wealthy '09er friends from the fictional zip code 90909, Veronica attends Shelly Pomroy's '09er party. Her drink is spiked, and she wakes up in the morning in an empty bed and finds her underwear beside it.
She makes the tough choice to stick up for her dad, and does the odd favor for his Private Investigation Agency, Mars Investigations, and her school acquaintances.
