Beau Winters is 18 and the seconder born of Alpha David of the Shadow Moon Pack, a very large and powerful pack. After Bryan, Beau's older brother, steps down from his upcoming Alpha position to spend more time with his new mate Beau is given the future title. He must train hard and learn everything needed to learn to be a future Alpha. But Beau really doesn't care for the title, yes he loves his pack with all his heart and will fight for it with his life, but his father wants him to be like him, dull and always working. Beau wants to be a teen while he can and find his mate, which his father said may never come, but Beau is still hopeful and he is willing to take of the title, but just doesn't want to do it alone.

Jaime Tate is 19, almost 20, year old Luna of the Blood Thirst Pack, largest, strongest, and most feared pack. After Jaime's mother, was one of the strongest living Luna's, died 4 years ago protecting the pack from rouges Jaime wanted to be just like her. Jaime's father, former Alpha Jacob trained her and tought her everything he knew. But her being fourth born of 12 and only girl, she would have to really work and prove to her dad that she could not only be a Luna, but an Alpha also and she did. Jaime took over and now rules the pack and other packs give her the up most respect, because most know what she's capable of.
