Amelia Bellini at seventeen years old was forced to move from her home to the other side of the world. Now she's been living almost two years in Vermont. Her parents bought eh beautiful vineyard while opening a restaurant. Everything she wants she has except a happy life, even when her home is a loving home. She just wants to go back home.

Ron Wilson grew up poor and he's been working all his life to support himself and mother after his bastard father had an affair with the 18-year-old neighbour. But when his mother dies of a horrible sickness he moves with his uncle in Vermont, he's been there for 5 years now working at the local bar.
