Jewel was an ordinary girl for sixteen years. As a super critical girl, she never had a lot of friends. After a magical attack from the Greek dracaena, she is sent to Camp Half-Blood, the safest place for demigods. Her timing couldn't have been more awful. She arrived in a time of war between the Greeks and Gaia.

Elise has always lived at camp. As the daughter of Phobos the god of fear, she didn't have a lot of friends. When a new girl arrives, she keeps her distance. Fear was something that seemed to follow her around like a shadow.

When the world is at stake, and the most powerful heroes off to complete their quest, will these two be able to conquer unimaginable obstacles together? Or will the succumb to the darkness?
