16 year old Caitlin and 17 year old Mason are two teenagers going to West high school.

Caitlin is quiet and shy but her best friends are completely different. Leyla is an eccentric goth and Kara is the typical dumb blonde cheerleader. Caitlin is surrounded by people who love and care for her but she will not allow anyone in with the memories of her drunk father's abuse still fresh in her mind.

Mason and his best friend Jace are in the first team for rugby and they are both in the popular group at school. Masons' life is perfect, save for the fact that he is still trying to come to terms with his mother's suicide 5 years ago.

When Caitlin and Masons' worlds collide in an unexpected way, will Caitlin let Mason in? And will they be strong enough to continue?
