Lacey Brown and Tyler Robinson have been best friends since second grade. After Lacey goes through heartbreak when her boyfriend cheats on her, she turns to Tyler. Lacey is convinced to never commit to a relationship ever again and ends up sleeping with Tyler. They both agree to not tell anyone and have been continuing on this peculiar relationship for three years. Not a single person knows about them. Complications occur as Lacey and Tyler face the stalker, the ex, and the financial problems. But will they be able to get through these obstacles called life? Will they fight for they friendship (or possibly more)? Or will they just give up and accept that life has to go on? That life is also about letting go of the past and facing the future? But what if sometimes... our past IS our future?

Megan Stewart hasn't known much happiness. She's only 17, but her life has been hard. However, despite all that she's been through, Megan keeps a smile on her face. Meet Jared Wesly. He's the bad boy of the school. However, he's not so much a bad boy. He's simply misunderstood. Only, he's been through quite a lot, just like Megan. In fact, they have more in common than Megan knows. When Jared and Megan's worlds collide (quite literally), Megan finds herself drawn to the boy that annoys her to no end, teases her, but makes her feel happy and protected, something almost unknown to her. Megan must make a choice in the end: Does she take a chance with the familiar boy, or does he become another "What if?" in her life? NOTE: I first wrote this story when I was around 13-14, so there will be cliches and cringe-worthy writing at moments. *Caution: Some language*
