For Aneira, a teenage girl living in Ancient Greece, life is about to get very complicated. Her world has already been turned upside down by her widowed father's marriage to the sad woman she nicknames "the Ghost". On top of that, her younger brother is annoying and her friends are changing as they get older. The last thing she needs is for the war between the Greeks and the Persian Empire to dump a wounded Persian noble on her doorstep.
