"You can't leave me now!" My voice cracks, raw and desperate. "Not after everything- the war, the alliance. I need you, Lucy. You're my home." She freezes, "Then prove I can trust you, Natsu. I won't stand by while you choose us-me-over the realms. Your selfishness will burn everything we fought for." Her words sting, her refusal to look at me a wound deeper than any celestial bullet. "I told you I'd burn the heavens for you! I swore it, Lucy-on my blood, on my fire. Don't make me choose between you and the world, because it'll always be you." My voice falters, breaking under the weight of my vow. "I'll choose you... every damn time." She stops, her breath hitching. Slowly, she turns, her golden eyes glistening with tears, her face a map of love and resolve that shatters me. "And that's why I'm leaving," she whispers, her voice thick, each word a dagger. "You're a selfish man, Natsu. I love you, but I won't let you damn the realms for me. I'm not your excuse to unleash your hatred." Her tears fall, "You can't use me as a shield for your darkness," she says, stepping closer, her light flaring, her eyes locking with mine. "If you let the realms burn in your fire, I'll stop you. I'll find a way to save them-even if it means killing you. Six months after Fairy Tail's war and the zodiac alliance, Natsu leads Fairy Tail, a syndicate masked by Dragneel Silver's arms deals, his celestial fire a demi-god's power. The heart falters. A celestial betrayal, a new enemy. Erza's badge closes in, her evidence on Natsu's deals a noose. Lucy, Natsu's star, wields angelic light, her empathy clashing with his vow to burn the realms for her. Can Natsu temper his fire to save the heart? Will Lucy's light hold, or tear them apart? Will Fairy Tail stop a possible divine war, or will the realms burn? Death of a Fallen Star is fire and light, love a weapon, betrayal a spark, the heart hanging by a thread.
