Like everyone else, she thought life is life; didn't think much of it. 

But how; just how, does one choice change everything? 

'No... No! NO!' She cried.
But what would that change? 

Nothing.

Abri Jefferson lives with her younger siblings, Sophie and Gabriel, while their parents are off in the army. 

She faces problems, makes sacrifices, and keeps the three of them as sane as possible.

But when that dreaded, painful question is asked, the only answer Abri can give is 'Soon'

''Don't  worry.' She whispered, as a tear ran down her face. 'We'll see them soon.''
