It's not easy to survive in the new world. 2 years ago every person over the age of 16 began getting very sick. Then they all began to die. 2 moths later all the adults were dead. 2 weeks later they started coming back as what could be described as zombies. They looked like humans but they acted like zombies. But now 2 years after the outbreak kids begin developing weird super power like abilities. 15 year old Steven is traveling to meet up again with his group survivors after leaving them after he discovered his own power. Now Steven wonders these powers connected to the outbreak? Now Steven and other survivors must try to solve this mystery and continue to survive in their world full of dark places.
Note:(This is inspired by the Gone and The Enemy book series. If you haven't read these books you really should)

The zombie apocalypse, something that nobody actually expected to come into the real world. But, here it is. Thirteen is just trying to make it to tomorrow, but after finally dodging it for two years he gets bit by a zombie... Only thing, he is still alive and kicking the dead. The only difference now, is they aren't attracted to him anymore, and wounds seem to heal faster than they should. He's confused, and scared to find out what would happen if anyone found out. Especially with hearing all of the talk about 'The Murphy' That was until he finally met him, and his group. This book follows four teenagers from four different parts of the U.S. when their lives are dramatically changed one day. When zombies become real and more than just horror movies and scary books, they're forced to fight to stay alive. What they don't know is how similar their struggles are, along with their goal: get to the supposed safe haven alive. (The book is under editing right now, and I'll be changing the location of the safe haven from Columbus to Cincinnati. I didn't really think it through when I first wrote this but I think that Cincinnati would make a little more sense. Sorry for any confusion!) *************** BEING REWRITTEN I started writing this at 14, and it started out as something I made just for fun. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. The story will be very different but the characters will be the same for the most part. It'll have the same style of writing with the different points of view, but separated between books instead of chapters, and I already have a storyline laid for the first 2 or 3.
