He may also be a good one and show the girl that there's always someone that cares; then she'll leave him for another because he didn't want to do something with her or he had a dark secret. 

I've lived well over a decade and the people whom I've come to know have had one. But the one I know isn't like the ones I used in the example, he's something exquisite.
