When a person go through tremendous conflicts they are reminded of it for the rest of their life. Spencer Davis is starting fresh to start her career as a English teacher at Franklin High School in a small town. She begins to have flashbacks of her heinous memories of her four years of high school. She meets new people in the new town she has moved to but she also meets a person that haunts her past. Ms. Davis wants to flee the town but meets her English student, Leah Underwood, as her high school self and she is under pressure of how to react. Spencer is in a mess and does not want history to repeat it's self. Spencer tells the story of her life and how she will conquer this dilemma.
