One year after Harry defeated Voldemort at the Battle of Hogwarts, he still has no idea what to do with his life. He's been living at No. 12 Grimmauld Place with Hermione and Ron, but they've spent the past few months on an extended stay in Australia to try and restore Hermione's parents' memories. Alone, he feels set adrift. Everyone else is focused on enjoying their summer before Hogwarts reopens (after a one year rebuilding period), but without Ron and Hermione, Harry doesn't know if he can go back. Everything changes when the Malfoys dramatically re-enter his life, and together they learn to live again. An 8th year Drarry fic where Harry barely speaks anymore, but Draco doesn't need words to understand him. After spending the summer together and beginning their relationship, it's time for Harry and Draco to transition back to Hogwarts. Both men know continuing their relationship isn't going to be easy, but nothing good ever is. Can they keep their relationship hidden from not only their friends, but the wizarding world as a whole until they're ready to come out? Can they, along with their friends, end house prejudices for good, and finally unite Hogwarts? Sequel to my story Ghosts, but my goal is that this can be read as a stand alone book. You'll just miss Harry and Draco becoming friends, as well as the start of their relationship. The cover art was done by @/sashaelfel on instagram. "not as adorable as draco malfoy being a father." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ a drunken mistake left draco malfoy with a son at the young age of twenty. he's struggling to heal with his trauma from the war, as well as raising a son alone. harry potter took in teddy lupin, his godson, after andromeda tonks fell seriously ill. he's also struggling to heal from his war-caused trauma, but he took teddy in regardless. when teddy unfortunately befriends scorpius malfoy, an unexpected friendship forms between harry and draco. raising kids together, and healing together, the two men end up being more than friends. but healing isn't easy. post war teddy is born two years after the war started: november 27th 2022 finished: november 11th 2023 WARNINGS: ABUSE, EATING DISORDERS, MENTAL HEALTH THEMES, VIOLENCE, SELF HARM AND SUICIDE the story is set in this generation. harry potter is part of gen z. most characters belong to jk rowling but the plot is mine :)Complete
