Avalon Zeel had it all: A loving family, an amazing boyfriend, a spot in one of the best modeling agencies, Wilhelmina Models, and so much more. Until one rainy night...she's driving home from an after party, and everything is taken away with the flash of headlights. She wakes up in a cold hospital room, staring at her lifeless body. Out of fear, she runs to the nearest nurse and touches the top of his spine, startling not only herself, but him as well. As soon as she realizes no one can see her, she runs out into her new 'life', or more like death, not knowing what to expect. As she retraces her steps, trying to relive her old life, she bumps into the boy again, realizing he can actually see her unlike everyone else. Together, they'll figure out Avalon's death and secret.

[✓] ∥ It all happened in a split second. One moment I was on his back, and the next one I was lying on the ground, watching the man who would be responsible for my possible disabilities run away. The woman was sitting and had her back against a near-by wall, and from what I could see, her eyes were wide and she was shaking. I would be too, if I wasn't paralyzed. Literally. A few hours later, well, just about 20 seconds in reality, she slowly stood up and observed me with horror in her eyes for a few moments. I looked back at her, seeing as that was the only thing I could do to let her know I was still alive. "Dear lord, child, what have you done?" She whispered, looking down at me. "I need..." I could barely choke the words out. "I need you to call the ambulance." Copyright © 2014 by funkystyles
