Under Stellar Light is an ekphrasis poem inspired by and elaborating on the album art for French shoegaze band Alcest's Écailles de Lune album. The art has been done by French musician and artist Fursy who has a band of his own called Les Discrets.
The poem takes on the surreal theme of the art and draws a melancholic romantic theme of a dreamland that is the backbone of all of Alcest's albums and frontman Neige's musical inspiration.
This ekphrasis is a tribute to Alcest and Fursy.
The anthology starts with the Alcest tribute but goes on with my original works in the surreal and ethereal theme.#12nimbus
