Yo is not your average 17 year old guy, he was raised in a secret facility called H.M.E ( Human Mutant Essentials ) where people are given up or sent to, to be experimented on to create the perfect abnormal human. To gain special strength, knowledge and abilities. Yo has been experimented on his whole life and finds pain to be normal, the tests they run on Yo has left him with permanent physical changes too that he barely even looks human. Yo has never been treated as a human so he has no idea how to act or feel like one.

Maddie starts her second year in high school and shes super stoked! All the kids in her class considers her to be the most prettiest girl in school that the boys drool over, but also the strangest that she hardly has any friends. Despite of being the center of attention at school she wishes to be normal girl because her memories of being a testing experiment in H.M.E as a little girl still taunts her and she's good at everything because of the special abilities they gave her which she thinks isn't fair. No matter how much she wants to forget her past she can't because she does not want to forget the first boy she ever loved who was also a testing experiment with her who she called "Yo-kun "
