Summaries are so hard to write....anyways so this story is based off of the movies, considerably The Death Cure. This is also BOOK 2 so I very much recommend to read the first book before reading this one just so you understand some of the things that is being said. Just to be clear I am not British, so please forgive me for Newt's speaking lines. I didn't want to curse in this book either except for the occasional 'hell' but instead of cursing I like to put 'bloody'. Everything has its place
Thomas' new life began in a metal box lurching through an elevator shaft. Confused, scared and filled with curiosity, he thinks the boys laughing maliciously at him are going to roast him over an open fire and eat him. When that doesn't happen, he's left with too many questions about who he is and where he came from. In his heart, though, he knows that he must become a Runner. A boy who is chosen to run through their prison, a Maze, and find an escape. This is a rewrite of the Maze Runner movies. I don't really know if rewrite is the right word, but I'm using this as an opportunity to practice my writing. It'll follow the structure of the movies with minor adjustments, especially just now in the first one. Later on more adjustments will happen, I think. I also want to include Newt/Thomas in this rewrite as I find the ship cute. My writing is a bit clunky and all-over-the-place but I hope you enjoy :) Please feel free to offer constructive criticism.
