55 parts Complete Mature
Growing up in chaos isn't simple for all. Not many could cope. They would struggle and kick, but ultimately drown. However, for Dakota, that was his normality. Torturing. Maiming. Killing. That was his life, the life of a hunter. The Arizona line was elusive, written fame in the lore of hunters, and infamy for their prey. They were the best. No one could ever compare to their skills, their abilities, their ruthlessness. But Dakota was something else. His siblings might have learnt to enjoy the hunt, well most of them anyway, but Dakota didn't. There was always something missing for him, something he was waiting on. Silent and everlasting hope. A promise had been made to him, the day his twin brother was stolen, taken by the enemy, plucked right from the very home the Arizonas had grown up in. A promise of something better, something that he might actually want in his life. Now, almost sixteen years later, something was coming. A change was begging to be found. Maybe it would be for the best. Maybe Dakota would finally find that certain something that had been missing his whole life, something to fill the dark and fractured abyss that ached and wailed within. But nothing was ever that simple. Because, of course, the promise that had been made to Dakota would never be anything plausible for him, anything tangible to have and to hold. He had been promised a new life, by the greatest enemy of them all. It wouldn't be easy. Not with his family still clinging to his heels, the teachings of blood and violence burnt into his mind. No, leaving them behind wouldn't ever be easy. Then again, staying with them would only bring his inevitable death. Why not take the chance to die happy? After all, out of the ashes, a phoenix will rise...

Waking up face down in mud sucks any day of the week. But coming around in the sludge of a strange realm...? Well, that just redefines a bad day altogether. Trapped in an unfamiliar world, sixteen-year-old Quinn is frustrated that none of the strange Tree People appreciate his urgency to get back home to earth. Now he is faced with a choice that could change the course of his life: escape and find his own way home, or stay and help them find the cause of the poison ravishing their world. When the mind-reader unlocks one of the ancient mysteries of the Tree People it points to the only way of saving them from annihilation: they have to find the Power of Light. What exactly that means, the mind-reader doesn't reveal, but his next warning comes as a shock to all present: finding the mysterious Power of Light can only be done with the help of the dangerous enemy tribe whom they once called family. Quinn soon finds himself a little more entangled in the lives of these gifted beings than he'd care to be. Especially after meeting Jazz: the feisty girl from his world who seems to be a regular visitor to the world of Zoay. To Quinn's constant frustration, the aqua-eyed pixie makes it clear that she's not there to make friends. On their journey they'll brave bizarre encounters in dangerous alien forests, while sacrificing pride and will for the survival of all. Along the way Quinn finds more than he ever thought to seek: purpose, fulfillment and love. When the Power of Light is finally found a devastating discovery is made: if all of Zoay-including their enemy-want to live and prosper, one must be willing to sacrifice their life.

54 parts Complete Mature

The Nionian Kingdom had known only war, destruction and loss for over a decade, and Oryan did not escape that fate. Sent to Vandraad to become a Hunter and, ultimately, protect the Kingdom, Oryan learnt the truth of that night eleven years ago, and began her journey of revenge, while mourning. This is a story of war and monsters, of love as well as hate, and, above all, of how one can easily lose themselves in revenge and broken heart. --- "I suppose I couldn't expect you to comprehend, let alone approve. You have no idea what it is like to spend your entire f*cking life consumed by this immense suppressed rage growing inside, to have your parents taken away from you, to watch them fade in front of you, and have no ability whatsoever to help them. That night has haunted me for eleven f*cking years, during which I could do nothing to avenge them." - Oryan. --- NOTE 1: Use of strong language NOTE 2: english is NOT my first language. So, naturally, there are some mistakes. Feel free to point them out (nicely!) so I can correct them!
