There is nothing else 19 year old Devin Naoki Evangelista loves more than books. Except maybe wolves. Her parents owned a library that she inherited in San Francisco, California. Not many people visited the library, and bigger businesses asked to buy it from her, but she declined their offers. It meant the world to her. Even on a bad day, she would feel absolutely fine once she entered her library and read a book.

But what if, on a rainy night, she heard a group of people crash in and use her space as their hiding spot from the police? When the leader of the largest organized underground criminal acts, Nyxan Mathias Larking, asks her to keep them hidden, how would she react? Trouble is all he's known for, aside from excellent skills and talents. A strange twist comes when he starts to find attraction towards the pixie sized bookworm.
