Murdoc Niccals was left on his father's doorstep as an infant. Murdoc had an abusive childhood then. His father, Sebastian, was nothing but an abusive drunk. He often abused Murdoc.

Murdoc's childhood made him grow out to be a grump. He's always angry. He felt nothing but anger.

He's in a band, called Gorillaz. With Russel Hobbs, Noodle, and 2D. He was so rude toward them. To show them he cared, he insulted them. To show he loved 2D the most, he hit him. He doesn't know how to show real affection. His father never showed it to him. He thinks, the only way to act fatherly to the band members, is to hit and insult them.
