Loki has been living with the Avengers in New York since the destruction of Asgard. Waking up one morning, he discovers that all is definitely not as it should be, the Tower is an apartment block and no-one has even heard of the Avengers! Where Steve, Nat, Clint and the rest should be are doppelgangers that look and sound like them but just, well , aren't. Even his girlfriend Carrie no longer knows him! A waking nightmare doesn't come close to describing it.
