Life is unfortunate.  Bad things will happen; it's inevitable.  We're all born into different levels of society, and no, not everyone has a fair chance of achieving their goals.  But then again, who cares when you're at the top?  Sure there're people who sympathize, but they'll never understand what it's like.
In a mystical world where charms and spells are ordinary, a young girls seeks a route to be find a magic that will prove to others that you are not stuck where you are.  Hard work and determination can work miracles; when trying to display unequal, absurd treatment of her world, this can come in handle...maybe some magic could help too.
