Summer of Firsts (?)

Shane Mendoza is a book-worm who grew up focused on getting a scholarship to a good college and building a good life for himself despite the tensions between his parents and all the summers at Kyra Bennett's beach house with her two daughters Myka and Aria. This summer, he's finally made it through one year of college on a full scholarship. Coming to the beach house is meant to be his relaxation before heading into another year of college. Will he actually try to have some good experiences or will he spend his time preparing for classes, with his nose in books?
