He pressed the blade of the knife against her neck and she gasped. 
  
  "You wouldn't. You won't." she said confidently. The look in his eyes, however, made her believe he might.
  
  "You're right, princess. At least, not without your permission." 
  
  She looked at him strangely as the presence of the knife became ever so more aware. She leaned forward slightly, testing the pressure of the blade against her neck. He grinned like a cheshire cat. 
  
  And then she nodded.
