You know how in scary movies you scream at the girl who isn’t running and calling the cops because the killer is in her house? Yeah, well that girl doesn’t know the killer is in her house, only we know, the audience. It’s exactly the same in real life, everything seems unclear when it's happening, but years later we see how easy and obvious everything was.
