They guard over all there creatures keeping balance among them and humans... until both worlds were threatened by an enemy so powereful it's form transpired of darkness and darkness alone: Mangorath. 

This creature created by a man bent on destruction and power so willing to lose that there is nothing to gain. The worlds only hope was the guardians who payed down their lives to trap this creature and its creator away were evil cannot wake our guardians essence keeping them at bay.
Though sadly even the lightest places hold a small ounce of darkness. Mangorath  grows stronger as the years of his defeat go by, fated to return and with our guardians gone who will stop this foe? All over the world once children reach the age of 14 they are given a chance to call forth a guardian but to no avail all hoping to call upon the legendary kitsune and togeter
