•Diffident• shyness caused by a lack of self confidence The story of a pessimistic realist, Olivia Graham and an overly optimistic, idealist, Calum Hood- and how they help each other realize the best parts of themselves. To everyone else, it's no secret that they both have feelings for each other. Everyone can see it, except for them. Despite the fact that Calum can get any girl and despite the fact that he has no problem telling Olivia how beautiful she truly is, both refuse to imagine a future together. Whether it be because of family issues, trust issues, past relationships, and especially insecurities, both refuse to admit any and all feelings. They let their skinny love follow them like shadows as they pretend all that they are -and all they ever will be- is friends. - Slow beginning but it gets more interesting! :)
