Kat lives with her mother in a mansion as her dad died due to heart attack when she was just 10 years old. She was closer to her dad than her mother and when he died, it affected her so much but she had to learn to be independent. Her mother always go overseas because of her work and this results her to be extremely lonely because she had no friends. 18 years old Kat finally realises that studies are not important so her grades dropped and she never completed her homework or bother to come to school. The day her mother came back home, she was scolded about her studies and Kat decided to run away from home. That's when she bumped into Zayn Malik, the famous punk in her town.
