Bridgette Le Faye, better known by her various fire-related nicknames, is your normal rebellious teenager. Skipping school, getting piercings and tattoos, the normal. Why is she so rebellious? Well, that's because her Father left when she was very young and her Mother blames her for it. So she does everything in her power to irritate her Mother, while still staying true to herself. Now almost an adult she proves daily what she learned at a young age; the only person you can ever truly relay on is yourself.
Not to mention the strange power she seems to have over fire. All through her life she has always had a strong connection to fire but no one can explain why. That is until Adrian Kingston falls into her life. Now her odd ability to make and control fire is occurring more and more often. Not only that but it seems like someone is out to get her. Framing her for things she never did and hurting the people closest to her.
Bridgette has many questions and few answers. Who is this mysterious boy and what does he have to do with her past? Can he help her over-come her fears of being close to people or will he give-up like the rest? Can he prove to her that she is something special? Will she ever be able to prove that someone is setting her up and find out who it is? The only thing Bridgette knows for sure is that nothing is as it seems and never will be again.
