Elizabeth's mother died on a cold winter night, minutes after giving birth to a baby girl.
    
    Her daughter was born with a birthmark of a wyrm, the one that had terrified the village.
    
    After 75 years of abductions and brutal murders, the village is superstitious and afraid.
    
    In a world where different is dangerous, Elizabeth has an incredible difference. She has a voice in her head. It is her friend, advisor and lookout.
    
    Her destiny is great, but she must rise above it all...
    
    Fate can't be escaped.
