The Quarter is quiet. Marcellus controls the vampires. The wolves live like outcasts in the Bayou. The Witches have a rocky peace with the vampires. The Mikaelsons raise Hope in their family home. All is peaceful, quiet despite the minor disputes. However the newest Scottish visitors have a long history that they plan on bringing to town. --- "They don't like the idea of new vampires in New Orleans." He reports shamefully, holding his head downwards. The butler seemed as though fearing for his life. I hold the lavender ball gown up to my chest, looking at myself in the floor length mirror. "On the contrary, dear Joseph," I pause, listening as my sweet Scottish accented voice floats around the room in tranquility. I turn to him, my ice eyes resting on him. "We are very, very old vampires." I drop the dress, and the butler looks up in fear. My movements are as fast as a striking snake, tearing out his throat in such a swift movement there's barely any mess. I look into his eyes as he raises his hands to his neck, falling to the ground in a light thump. I walk back and pick up the lavender dress, admiring my smiling reflection in the mirror as the tragically human butler bleeds out onto the expensive Russian rug. --- Some plot lines and moments of the Originals has been altered for this story. Camille is human (alive). Marcel is not a super vamp. However, Hope is seven years old. I only own the events and Characters I design, the rest all belong to the CW and the wonderful writers. Edit:: The Title has been changed from Casket Crowns to Her Majesty The reasoning is that the characters designed in this story are being used in a series of novels that will NOT be fan fictions. I don't get it. I really don't. I died, I get that much. But waking up in a dark and squishy place, with absolutely NO ROOM to move, I DON'T GET. Let's recap. It was a regular day. I got up, ate, showered and went to work. I was a police officer. I was checking out a house call about domestic abuse. I didn't even get to knock on the door before a man bursted out screaming at a women about calling the pigs on him. It didn't take much to figure out he was the abuser with the way he was holding her arm tight enough to bruise. I tried to diffuse the situation, told him to calm down and let her go. He didn't like that. In the end I got shot and died. Then I woke up in a small and dark space and freaked out. Then I get pushed out only to cry and realize I'm a baby.
